Job description

HR Strategy’s client is a company specializing in Hospitality. They are looking for the highly qualified candidate for the position: CFO

  • Working location: HCMC
  • Report to: CEO

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the operations of Finance & Accounting department such that accounting management, financial planning (both short term and long term) and reporting, interdepartmental and vendor relations are managed to optimize the company profitability as per Vietnamese laws and accounting standards, company policies
  • Develop and execute financial plans (both short term and long term) to ensure profitable growth of the company
  • Prepare capital reviews as required by the CEO
  • Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing
  • Obtain appropriate legal counsel regarding the business practices of the company and maintain an awareness of laws, rules and regulations
  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company
  • Work well with Chief Marketing Officer, prepare capital reviews as required by CEO, and COO to develop the strategic plan
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Evaluates departmental performance  and makes adjustments to daily operations when needed      to ensure the department meets overall goals and objectives
  • Maximize cash flow performance of the company
  • Control and allocate capital of the company
  • Establish adequate controls for all revenues and expenses and protection of assets
  • Ensure the balance sheets are a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the company
  • Assist Heads of the Department to improve their financial awareness and provide them with relevant financial information for their operations
  • Monitor all capital expenditures against budgets to ensure compliance with justification and approval
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial and operating information, provide analysis interpretations and projections
  • Provide safekeeping, including proper storage and access for all contracts, leases and other financial records
  • Ensure timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters/ results/ management reports and tax reporting
  • Liaise with banks to build strong relationships
  • Perform related tasks as assigned

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent, CPA or CMA preferred
  • At least 10 years working experience in related fields
  • Excellent oral and written English communication
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Experience with budget management, public accounting, and cash flow
  • Able to work under pressure and high leadership skills, organization, time management

  • Salary: $8000 – $10000. It depends on candidate’s interview.
