Job description

***Sourcing:

  • Ensure sourcing strategies are drafted and executed for all key indirect goods and services within Country but not limited when Indirect categories are under global scope (Ex: Packaging, IT, Ocean freight,…) based on strong knowledge of internal needs and external factors;
  • Responsible for Manage the indirect spend portfolio and his/her team within Region to make sure balanced workload and maximized synergies;
  • Seek synergy, and where appropriate, support, ensuring team works with other functions and others Regions. Manage the cost saving pipeline to ensure regional targets for cost reduction are met;
  • Do as primary contact towards key suppliers and develop strong partnerships with these suppliers;
  • Ensure supplier performance against agreed upon key performance indicators is reviewed and action plans for continuous improvement are defined;
  • Responsible for he/she and his/her team is involved in site cost development and CAPEX plans & projects (from inception to when project is closed out) and ensures that procurement savings initiatives are aligned.

***Communication & Collaboration:

  • Advance problem solving thru cross functional collaboration, and leverage regional indirect manager in driving best practice implementation on Indirect spend.

***Processes, Procedures & Quality:

  • Carry out P2P process (Procure to Pay) and other global rolled-out practice when relevant to Indirect Procurement;
  • Make sure at all times compliance with internal control procedures and other regulatory procedures, ie Code of Conduct, ISO procedures, internal SHE procedures etc;
  • Ask for the status quo & promote value creating ideas in daily operations leading to continuous improvement in our procedures and processes.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor, in business, chemistry or engineering and/or equivalent by experience;
  • SAP knowledge is preferable;
  • Have 4-6 years of relevant working experience, including strategic purchasing;
  • Experience in managing teams, preferably in international environment;
  • Strong knowledging of the industrial/(petro)chemicals indirect spend, suppliers market for the Region market trends and developments;
  • Fluent in English.
