Job description

Manage material quality:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for raw materials.
  • Analyze material test results and identify potential issues.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding material quality standards.

Support product development:

  • Select appropriate materials based on product specifications and performance requirements.
  • Calculate material consumption for production planning.
  • Understand garment maker requirements and patterns.

Optimize supply chain:

  • Manage material inventory levels to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Understand and utilize ERP or similar data systems for material management.
  • Oversee material shipment logistics and payment terms.

Team development:

  • Coach and train team members on material quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Job Requirement

  • University degree in Textile Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sportswear apparel product development with a team of 6-10 members.
  • Strong understanding of textile structures, physical & basic chemical testing processes (including RSL).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
